The myFirst Fone R2 is NOT recommended for use while swimming or showering. Although the device is water-resistant, it is NOT waterproof. This means it can ONLY handle occasional splashes or brief submersion in water, but it is NOT designed for extended exposure to water, particularly when there is significant water movement.
- Water Resistance: The myFirst Fone R2 is designed to withstand accidental drops into water, as long as the water is not deeper than 1 meter and the device is retrieved within 3 to 5 minutes. However, water resistance is limited and does not equate to being waterproof.
- Limitations: Activities such as swimming, showering, or even walking in the rain are NOT advisable, as they involve fast-moving water or prolonged exposure to moisture. These conditions could potentially compromise the seals of the device, leading to water damage.
